As a cooperative, Middle Georgia is guided by a board of directors elected by its members. To be eligible to serve on the board, each director must be a member of Middle Georgia EMC. The nine-member board sets policy and provides direction to the general manager. Directors are elected to staggered three-year terms in conjunction with the annual meeting each July.
